While I agree in general with the point you're making, I don't think it's the case with Greenwood. The woman in question is his ex girlfriend who posted pictures and audio of the alleged abuse on her social media. There was a thread about it on here at the time.
But that's not the case in this instance. I'm not going to repeat it here but her identity is widely known.
Fair enough, I didn't know of her. But I've seen many cases whereby an 'ordinary' mans life (ie not a famous footballer or celebrity) has been ruined before he's been convicted of anything, thats what I was referring to.

YES - his name has been in the media right from the off. Right from the accusation. Largely because of who he is.
I know some victims of sex attacks and what they have been through is horrific , so not sure telling the world is a good idea or would help them with what is a terrible ordeal.
