Haven’t been to Anfield for many years what are the away pubs??

Staying the weekend so chance for a pre match beer instead of driving home.

Never mind the pub of that name. I think we could do with a twelfth man on the pitch on Saturday to have any real chance of getting a result.

If you've never been to Anfield then get there a couple of hours before KO to see a real pre-match build up outside the ground. Team coaches arriving to huge fanfare (and a few bottles), lots going on as well. Take the selfies of the gate and memorial.
For a pub it has to be The Arkles. They've got serving drinks to an art. Very friendly with home & away mixing and chatting. You'll find a knowledgable lot in there who enjoy football & beer.

Yes The Arkles is good with plenty of Albion colours when we visit.

Get there early to take seats, giant screens air the lunchtime TV game.

Yes. It was at the end of my very short road which was, at the other end just about 100 yards from the Kop. It's on the Anfield Road side, in er....Anfield Road. So on the 'right' side for away fans.
