Win the fa cup?

He’s won it a few times already, so Pardew has nothing to prove, thank you much. Winning medals as a player and manager:

1. He won the FA Cup in 1990 with CP. As you will recall, the FA shortened the tournament, setting the final at Villa Park in April. You of all people will remember Pardew scoring the winning goal, becoming an FA Cup winner, the glory. CP’s glory is etched in our Albion memories, with pain.

2. In 2006 at Cardiff WHUFC beat Liverpool to take FA Cup glory. I distinctly remember Pardew dancing beautifully as the Hammers scored their winning goal.

3. At Wembley in 2016 Pardew boogied his way into FA Cup history as CP beat ManUre, winning their second FA Cup.

Pardew = winner.

He's got a Herculean task to avoid relegation, starting with Heracles on Saturday.

It's got to be said, well done Mr Pardew. It's refreshing to see someone actually take decisive action.

“The events before and after the match against Botev Plovdiv were unacceptable, not only for me but also for my assistant Alex Dyer and for my players,” Pardew said in the statement. “This small group of organised racist fans, who tried to sabotage the game, are not the fans I want to coach the team in front of.

“It’s been a privilege and honour to serve this great club. Unfortunately, my time here has come to an end.”
