Tony's club has just been gutted.

He needs to now stand firm and have a "no further sales" policy this season.

In the summer we'll lose Mac Allister, Sanchez, Caicedo, and maybe Trossard.

Someone reassure me that Winstanley isn't off as well - the summer 2023 rebuild will be massive.

In some small way and this is a bit of straw clutching, maybe them all going makes it easier for us to bring someone in, as they can bring their own people.

In all likelihood the new manager will bring his own team with him. So any coaches remaining at the club would likely be surplus to requirements, so as sad as it is, I can see why they’ve all gone with Potter. I suspect all the Chelsea coaches have also gone, Potter won’t want them.

let down didnt he have to give permission for GP to talk with Chelsea? I think you need to re-word this to : Brighton fans let down by Tony Bloom

Don’t be an absolute plonker, you know it makes sense

I agree with you. A new manager may well have his own team and I’d hate it if it was us having to get rid of Bruno.

The fact that Potter took the ENTIRE back room team with, including the ones who were here before his arrival? I would feel VERY let down.

They will ALL have been under contract.
We will have made the conscious decision to let them all go.
That’s life….. and football!

Tony Bloom knows what he’s doing. There was always the likelihood that this would happen. Things have already swung in to motion.

Yeah, he did, there was a release clause in the contract.

Potter leaves the club in a much better state than he found it. That's all you can ask anyone to do really, the rest is unrealistic noise
Is that improved state sustainable or a temporary accelerated improvement due to Potters personal influence on those he worked with? Guess we will find out if the new manager is able to build on our recent achievement and maintain our upward trajectory rather than returning to a season ambition of reaching 40 points.

Yeah, he did, there was a release clause in the contract.

So no release clause. Potter would just quit and we would not have got 20 million. Are you a bit simple to not understand that.

So lucky to have Bloom. If we had a foreign owner I would be asking what the hell is going on. In the end it is only us supporters and Bloom who would never jump ship

No, I undertsand. I was telling the other muppet that Tony did have to let Chelsea talk to Potter, because there was a release clause in his contract. I did bold the part of his statement I was referencing, but because he had used shouty text after it, it wasn't obvious, so I will forgive you questioning my intelligence.
