[Albion] Do we have a realistic chance of getting Poch?

Would be a big statement of intent, and the players would be boosted by a respected name.

I know his Saints days were a long time ago, but he does fit with our South American theme.

Doubt it unless we spend some of the cash pile we are sitting on.

If no - please state why.

Bottled the league under Spurs when Leicester won it

Bottled a champions league final

Didn’t win Ligue 1 with PSG

Would want loads of money and a bigger job

I don't agree with the second one, but yeah, the other three.

No, I don't think we'd get him and I'm not sure we'd want him. Doesn't really fit our profile and he'd be off the second a big club came calling.

Nope. Regardless of his failure in PSG you don't go from earning a massive wage in the wealthiest club in the world, with a lot of opportunities to win titles, to coaching Brighton.

And Bloom will want someone who at least pretends they're in for the long haul. If we finish even top half Poch will be off to the next big club.
Thought about it briefly yesterday, but no.

Poch failed to win Ligue 1 with three of the best players to ever play the game available to him.

That was after taking over from Tuchel half way through the season. The next season he won it by the largest margin of any major league Europe.

He was sacked for missing out on the Champions League, losing to Man City in his first season and Real Madrid the next.

No disgrace there.

No - and he would only see it as a stop gap for him until something bigger came along. Good manager - Yes. For the Albion - No.
