Because he is being announced as Chelsea manager tomorrow, Liverpool already have a manager, and even if they didn’t I’m not sure Potter would be their pick.

Klopp won't be sacked. Potter will be Chelsea manager tomorrow according to the Argus.

After tonight why not ?
Because it's too late. Unfortunately.

Much rather see him at Liverpool than Chelsea - if I was in charge at Liverpool I'd be on the phone to him tonight - 'Stay with Brighton, reject Chelsea, and you'll be the next Liverpool manager before too long' (Klopp has been brilliant for Liverpool, but is looking tired and worn out with the pressure now).

Won't happen though. Damage done.

Liverpool and Klopp look like they have run out of energy and in a World Cup year that's not ideal. Conversely, Arsenal, Spurs, Citeh all looking bright, Man Utd improving, Chelsea stacked with a calm new manager.

Liverpool have not retooled in midfield and are still too reliant on Hendo and Milner, also insufficient back-up quality for their defence and an attack not on the same page. I can see them missing out on a Champions League spot, and that could in turn see them miss out on Jude Bellingham / Declan Rice next summer (but probably in for Caicedo).

Not sure there's been a harder working question mark in a thread title in the history of NSC

Exactly.

FSG’s insistence on not having a significant net spend, as in 2020/21 has come back to bite the playing side. Too many crocks and old players.

Whilst the rest are on spending sprees, bringing in numbers of EPL ready players. Manure, Citeh, Spuds, Arsenal, Newcastle, Chelsea either spent fortunes yet again, or added the best players on the planet (Haaland).

FSG’s reliance on Klopp to maximise from whatever he has to work with, has overnight unravelled.

Levy, Kroenke, Glazer’s (despite the falsehood that they don’t spend), all get the cheque book out over and over again. Kroenke without a cent of CL money.

Stand still and you fall behind.
