Ian Wright finished up with “if he (Gross) carries on like that they are going to have a good season”.

What do the pundits think of us… and what do we think of us …. Anywhere from 8th to 12th ? Or Europe ?

Unless you're finishing in the Champions league or Europa league spots you're still considered pretty irrelevant to the pundits. As the Spurs/Forest game just finished they did a round up of the table after now the weekends games are done, they mentioned all the big clubs and where they are and then said ''oh and brighton are still up there''. A proper after thought.

lol who cares? pundits change their opinions like the wind, right now we're flavour of the month, if we lose next week all the stories will be about how we should've bought a striker for x million and how the likes of villa should be going after potter so he has a proper budget to work with

Even if we were top 4 at Christmas I’d still rip your arm off for 7th.

European nights at the Amex would be unbelievable.

if everyone gels, and a good run at home might look like nudging the european places. dont have the out-and-out striker to do it though. not under the radar though, been around few seasons now and talent to show.

We certainly don't get the column inches and media attention on live TV games that we might but that doesn't bother me at all. Prefer to just keep quietly going about our business, behave in a sensible and rational manner (unlike Leeds and their so called fans). As long as clubs like Leeds, West Ham, Utd, and so many others keep assuming they just turn up and beat 'little old Brighton' and then end up with egg on their faces I'm more than happy. Long may our whole ethos and approach continue in this vain.

We've sold players for over £150m in the past two years and still they come.

Caicedo is on the radar of all the big clubs. Trossard will be featuring on a few clubs' wish list once his contract runs down. Webster is supposedly of interest to Chelsea. I could easily see Sanchez appealing to Guardiola if Ederson continues to regress like he has been since early last season. Mac Allister may well attract attention in due course if he progresses as he has been. Lamptey is well known: he just needs a run of games.

We are in no way under the radar any more and haven't been for some time. I was subjected to a drunken ramble from a tubby Leeds fan on the train home last night, and he informed me with quite astounding insight that "If Brighton, right, y'know, had a decent striker, you know what, I reckon they'd be playin' in Europe".

If some pissed fan of the world's biggest club knows it, then sensible people elsewhere certainly do.

Anyone in the top 8 before the WC break has a chance for CL spots given the amount of games players will be going through and injuries hitting better players due to fatigue.

The post WC sprint is going to be exciting

It won’t just be the big clubs hit by world cup fatigue or injuries even L’il Ole Brighton has a shitload of players who could be playing in it. Luckily for us if not for them Dunk, Webster and Welbeck will be having a relax. I do expect a pretty early return for the Palace twats team though

Team Ecuador is getting my support and Ghana and Belgium, maybe Spain too

One day people will go, “There goes Graham Potter, I must remember to thank him”

I heard a Leeds fan saying that Man United should appoint Potter but that they wouldn’t because they always have to go for a big name.

I am sure most pundits think this is our moment in the sun and will sink back down to where we came from. At the moment we have a great manager who, like our best players, will go to a big club. This of course may be true...................or not :albion2:

I think we are doing great and are loving it. But from the outside, we have had one very good season in the Prem. Before that we were flirting with relegation in the other seasons at times and so last seasons result could be seen as an anomaly.

We won’t know until the end of this season

"There are only six real clubs in English football" is an idea -- and it's hard to overestimate how pernicious it has been -- that will not die until the last broadcaster, columnist or pundit who remembers the 1992 formation of the Premier League is dead and buried.

All the rest of the pyramid? NPC -- non-player characters.

ETA: Did not know that the phrade "Doing a Leeds" has its own Wikipedia page. Apparently it's also a catchphrase in Korean?!
