Think it will be very similar to the team that beat Espanyol. Maybe Lamptey or Lallana for Mwepu.

Why do you think Mwepu might not start

Manchester United are going to have much quicker defense-attack transitions this season and two ways to counter that is to either have the pace (Lamptey) to match them when they play it out to their wingers or the control (Lallana) to avoid them getting too many opportunities to attack. Mwepu is a high risk/high reward player and while that is absolutely going to be very useful throughout the season, I'm not sure if it makes him the best option for this game. But I may well be wrong - not going to eat hats and stuff if he starts.

Solly is fine . . . until he has to defend.

I thought his spell at LWB before he got injured and Cucurella came along was the best he's ever played for us. His failing, I'd say, is the final ball. As a hard-working wing-back he does a decent job. Mitoma is an option in that position too I believe.

If it has to be Solly then it has to be Solly. Certainly l'd rather seem him start there than Mitoma. Far too big a game to be making his debut in l would think.

Are you ITK and confirming the Caicedo on Stoke loan?
