4 weeks from tonight, I'm at Rogers Centre watching the locals play the good guys from Missouri.
First time I've been to see the Redbirds for years.
And I can't wait.
Nor can my wife (no matter how hard she tries to hide it)

Braves on a tear this month, last night they beat the Phillies and recorded win 21 out of 26 games in the month of June. Only 3 GBH the Mets.

Top of the first in Phillie and the Cardinals hit four consecutive home runs for the first time ever in their history to lead 5-0

Had blown that lead by the 4th though

Soto has turned down the $440,000,000 that would have tied him to the rotting corpse that is The Nat'nals.

Never been a huge fan of baseball (been to a Blue Jays game in Toronto, & the Rays one year at Disney's Wide World of Sports), but getting into it more and more. Was lucky enough to get tickets to the Padres on July 4th vs Seattle which was a great experience (if not the wrong result) & we also did a tour of Petco Park on our first day in San Diego...what a stadium. Absolutely brilliant. Seeing as I have friends in SD, and weve now been to Petco, I think its time to officially adopt the Padres as my team.

Also popped down to Waterhall on Sunday to watch some of the the Brighton Jets v Brighton Sharks inter-club game, which was fun. Would love to get to more games down there.

Its amazing! I've been to a few different sports stadiums around the world - but this has to be my favourite so far. Has a real "old school" feel to it, but totally modern. Also voted the best ballpark for fan experience in the MLB (if I remember correctly) and its easy to see why. One of the "Clubs" costs $43k per season, but you get a seat behind the catcher (you're closer to the batter than the pitcher is), and access to the exclusive bars etc - one of which has a one way window / wall, so you can watch the batters warming up pre-game from the comfort of your armchair while sipping a cocktail etc!

Loads of bars and restaurants in the Gaslamp Quarter just outside the stadium as well, plus it’s on the bay too.

Best I've ever been to is Coors Field in Denver.

I bought like their version of our 1901 ticket for one match and was treated like royalty

I am still awake because I'm watching the Blue Jays absolute crucify the Red Sox.

The Jays have just beaten their franchise record score and we are only in the 5th inning, where the Jays have scored 11 after being two out with nobody on base. It is now 25-3.

Great hitting for sure but the Red Sox have been an absolute disgrace with at least 3 or 4 absolute pub league plays.

When I moved to the states I was 10 minutes from the ‘Big A’ so I latched on to the Angels. Just hoping now for a MLB move to Las Vegas.

Not MLB news - but went down to Waterhall yesterday to watch Brighton Brewers vs Richmond Dragons.

Entertaining double header and had a great afternoon...but does anyone know someone who has a few spare ££££ to give the place a bit of a spruce up?

Embarrassing seeing the state of it now compared to a few years ago when it was hosting the National Championship Weekend :(
