Nah he’s gone. If he stay’s it means “I’m the Conservative party and you are my minions’. That is not going to happen mainly because the grandee’s and 1922 committee won’t stomach it.

He needs a house and cash so he’ll hang on until he can get cash coming in. He’s doing what he has always done … looking after number 1.

Personally I think some very unsavoury crap will start to surface and bumble**** is going to have his hand full just keeping himself out of the courts..

I admire your persistence, and really can't see why others can't see this, and you're forced into stating the same thing over again.
Keep in mind folks that the Conservative Party are the longest-lasting political party across the world and, alongside the GOP, the most successful electoral machines. Their aim is to keep the reins of power, and they won't allow a delustional, lying egotist to drag their name down even further. The real surprise is that it's taken them so long.

For "more insane than Truss" I'm going to guess Suella Braverman. There is something about her that is deeply, deeply scary. If she was a movie character she'd be Chucky crossed with the Bunny Boiler from Fatal Attraction. She inspires less confidence than Kemy Agustien entering a marathon.

The new leader must be someone completely fresh, not connected to the Johnson regime. They all went out on TV and radio to defend him and perpetuate his lies. It would be the same old, just a different face

They have to go back to the centre right and bring back the decent Tory politicians we had prior to June 2016 back into the fold to get the support back

Rehman Chishti, the Conservative MP for Gillingham and Rainham, says he is “actively considering” running for the party leadership.

The backbencher, who was born in Pakistan, was a party vice chair for communities under Theresa May, and a trade envoy to Pakistan under Boris Johnson.

He says: “We need leaders who best reflect modern Britain and can provide solutions to the challenges our nation is facing now.

"As someone who came to our great country at the age of six not speaking a word of English...our country is a land of opportunity for all and I want everyone to get the best chance in life possible."

Whilst it would it harder for Labour for the sake of the country we need moderation..
