Hated his conciliatory comments to the Saffers whilst telling the Lions that things weren’t up for discussion. Never trust a Frenchman under pressure.


End of the day, bad decision making from the Lions on penalties lost them the game though

What a tedious, boring series it's been, due largely to the springboks kick and scrap strategy. Bored stiff

It wasn't great, but I think that's over the top. It was groups of good players, being led by coaches with limited game plans and an obsession with bashing people. Much the same as England under Eddie Jones

I was in South Africa a couple of weeks ago, and they were showing the episodes of this each night. I watched them all and found it incredibly dull, which is a shame as I’m a massive rugby fan and had high hopes for the concept.
