eh? she's always on the telly doing nothing, she's world famous for doing nothing, she's been doing nothing since before the telly was invented. it's not a judgement call, it's simply a fact

Someone needs to look in a dictionary and find out what the difference is between fact and opinion.

You could have a go.

What a stupid comment. By all means criticise the royals if you don't like the idea of them being Heads of State, but don't criticise them for something when you have no idea what you write is true or not and as you well know the poster combined fact and opinion to confirm his narrative.

You are being entirely simplistic with regard to the queen's role, as you well know. Walking around is a very small part of the role -what happens behind the scenes is never seen, but come on, you know that. But let's replace her with President Abbott.

It wasn't though was it.

You simplified your argument down to look up truth and opinion in a dictionary, which in itself isn't an argument so you might as well do it yourself.

You posted it.

The imaginary Head of State argument is a bit tired to be honest.

Is there any reason you picked that particular women in question ?

it's telling that people such as yourself have never got an answer, do you think i won't notice you avoiding the issue?

and do you take the daily mail, perchance?

And change the national anthem to something modern, reflective of society and inclusive. It has no relevance unless your a christian monarchist as well as being a dirge of a tune.

Good shout.

But you just know they would commission Andrew ****ing Lloyd Webber to write the chune.

Personally I would commission Kimberley Rew. The last man to pen an English Eurovision winner. Jobzagoodun.

To get the photo in glorious technicolor and the red plane in grey is some achievement. Bravo

Fortunately, I believe Thunder Bolt served in the Royal Navy rather than in the artillery as an anti-aircraft gunner :moo:

I took photos from my grandstand seat outside Buckingham Palace. Some were ok but the fly past ones were rubbish. Apologies to our ex RAF lads.

Had an absolutely splendid day,say what you want about the Queen but absolutely nobody else unites us and gives the nation this kind of feel good factor than a good old knees up for the Queen.

Why do you believe an unelected elderly upper class white woman would make a better head of state than an elected working class black woman exactly?

No apologies needed ma'am :salute:
We were at Syon Park today mooching about, as you do.
Found a great spot for the dispersal of the flypast, but only managed to get one decent video

I feel much better now.
Bry Nylon will be happy to know I worked 200 feet underground so aircraft spotting wasn’t a skill I needed.
