I wouldn't start him as I think we have better options now, but I'd like him to have another year as a valuable squad member. Yesterday was him at his very best though. Superb performance.

Love Pascal, hope we sign him for another two years, will be gutted if we don’t keep him. Immense player.

Re songs, in the first season I recall hearing one, to tune of Queen’s ‘another one bites the dust’…

Another assist for Groß
Another assist for Groß
hey and he might get two
Another assist for Groß

Never really took off, unfortunately…..

I've sung it a good few times but, as you say, it's not one that enough have joined in with

Radio Sussex just said, after his interview, that’s he off back to Germany this summer. Missing home life.
Can't we build a copy of his local area somewhere?

A day on I’m still in total disbelief at that Gross performance. It was a proper 9 out of 10 man of the match spectacular. He really benefited playing a little bit further forward than he has this season is the only logic I can put on it, back to his wonder days playing just off Murray

Totally this. He seems to play so much better against the big teams, maybe they don't sit so deep giving him more freedom and thus time, as an experienced pro good to have as back up. Its the bump and grind against the likes of lower teams I think he's less affective.

Last few weeks, he’s been on fire.

I hope not. Either way, the best £3m signing ever.
Missing home life? Surely for 5 years he'd have brought his family with him, not spend five years living in a hotel?

Still, if he feels he wants to return to Germany, that's fair enough. If he's been feeling homesick it certainly hasn't affected him on the pitch. Good player though he is, with the arrivals of Moder, Mac Allister, Caicedo, Mwepu - and maybe Kozlowski too - he might find starts progressively harder to come by.

Either way, he'd be welcome to stay, or he could leave with good wishes.

Pascal misses Germany, who can blame him.

Herr Tubthumper will tell you why Germany’s a great place to live.

Contrast to the Albion players dormitory town:

I take it you regard GOSBTS as a bit of empty rhetoric then, a bit of an ironic joke? More Deutschland Uber Alles for you perhaps?

GOSBTS was fine until the supporters turned into a sprint to the end.

The goal was top class and while we have a lot of contenders in the midfield area , few would have scored that goal...

Think we need to take a long hard look at whether we retain though if our model is to bring through youth but pretty sure Potter thinks he is a good player to have and that really should be the deciding factor.
