Yes, we were about to fly back from Verona in August 2020, when in the seats directly behind us things got rather heated.

A huge, tough-looking Russian guy, started shouting for the entire plane to hear "If you knew what I just found out!" In a rage at his petite (I assume) wife and his mother in law. Maximum volume yelling, with sudden yanking of chairs.

The EasyJet crew were amazing. Little in size by contrast, they gathered to calm him down to an extent and then he agreed to move about 20 rows away.

Russian. Of course!

I have a totally irrational fear of being in a confined space full of other people, especially when some of them can suddenly act like those in the video. I also hate being at airports for hours.
I have got absolutely no fear of flying though.
I have this, it's a wonder how I manage to leave the house sometimes

I have good days and bad days, but the older I have got the anxiety has got worse. I often catch the very last train from Newhaven and get to the Amex just before kick off as I don’t like packed trains.

In 2013 on the way to Argentina was rerouted last minute onto a BA flight from LHR to Sao Paolo due to Iberia strikes taking delaying connections via Madrid.

On a big, and full 747 evening flight. In the queue to take off two pissed up Irish guys seemed to have inappropriately touched a lady two rows behind me. Argy bargy ensues and the plane is taken back to the terminal, Police come on to escort the two men off. Only problem is they wouldn't identify their hand luggage, meaning the entire plane had to reclaim theirs. 3 hours later we were on our way.

Sort of just KNEW it was going to be Manchester flight before even opening the link. It almost always is :lolol:

Flying back to Southampton from Manchester on a work trip a few years ago, we got turned back from the taxiway and headed back to the gate to be met by armed police. They came on board to remove a woman who refused to stop talking on her mobile phone even as we were getting ready for take off.

Despite there being armed police trying to get her off the plane, she wedged herself in the seat (it was a smaller FlyBe plane) and kept on fighting the police. Eventually they managed to drag her out of the seat and off the plane.

We were told she would be charged with endangering an aircraft, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. That was one expensive phone call.

Russian. Of course!

Do you think it is appropriate to generalise about all Russians? I don't know any who support the war; nor who behave badly generally. I have seen some who behave badly and drunkenly, but I didn't know them. I have seen more British in my life do it, and far worse. Some I knew, most I didn't.

Please think. It is not good to create the stereotypical idea that all people from a particular race or nation are bad. I am surprised I have to say it.

Wind yer neck in, stereotypes exist for a reason and at this particular time in history you’re on your own if you don’t think the majority of Russians aren’t complicit in their governments war crimes.

I’m surprised I have to say this…

My Mum worked at Gatwick when they banned smoking on planes. Immediately air rage became rampant as nicotine adicts replaced it with alcohol. Also airlines saved millions as they needed a lot less fuel to carry the oxygen, as now they needed to pump far less into the air. It also saw an instant increase in deep vein thrombosis.

Having seen the full video now of one of the guys getting escorted off deciding to punch a passenger before getting jumped on, totally deserved.
