I hadn’t been advocate, but perhaps there should be a neutral timekeeper, and the clock only ticks when the ball is in play, as fans will continue to be short-changed.

There was a thread on here about that, a trial somewhere that the clock ticks for 30 minutes each half but only when the ball is in play, initially i was not keen, however Swansman of all people convinced me it was the way to go, and I honestly now think he is right.

Swansman take that, from a horrible man.



As for Moyes, what do you expect, he has always had that in him, sore bitter loser.

Yep. And games to require 60 minutes of "in play" action. Someone posted a table of how this would affect the amount of game time per club based on current game times. At the top of the table, Man City games already have more than 65 minutes of game play, wheres for some of the shitter sides it is closer to 50. Who knew?

As much as it annoys me, we have done it as well.
