9s for Lamptey, Mwepu, Mac, Welbeck, Sanchez, Veltman and Gross
9.5s for Dunk, Caceido, Cucu and Trossard (for scoring)
10 for Biss

Special mention for the whole of the midfield who pressed the play like their lives depending upon it, allowing Biss to pick up the scraps.

Extra special mention for the much maligned Gross who ran himself into the ground chasing down balls. Not his natural game but a real team player.

Caceido is going to be our next superstar
That sums it up for me.

Fiveways
6 - average

Sanchez - 7 - nothing to do but calmness with the ball and faultless handling.
Lamptey - 7
Cucurella - 9
Dunk - 8
Veltman - 9
Bissouma - 9
Caciedo - 8 -- ANOTHER STUNNING PERFORMANCE, SO GOOD IN TIGHT SPACES, REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING HIM NEXT SEASON
Gross - 8
Mwepu - 7 - thought the booking was harsh, but didn’t have a great view
MacAllister - 9 -- HE'S JUST DOMINATING GAMES NOW. HE PLAYS ANYWHERE FROM DCM, 8, 10, FALSE 9, AND HAS SO MUCH TIME ON THE BALL. PUSHING CUCURELLA FOR POTS
Trossard - 9 -- DELIGHTFUL

Welbeck - 8 -- SOME STUNNING TRACKING BACK AND RUNNING THEM RAGGED TODAY
Lallana - much better than last week
March - great appearance

Potter - 9

Ref - 8

Capped comments are mine, along with amended ratings.

I appreciate you’re attempting humour there, but dare I say you somehow manage to come across as a cocksucker in all you post?

Anyway, a fine result. Seagulls!

Sorry Herr Humour.

What’s your point, think he’s been a bit quieter last two games, still above average….

I love football, so many differing opinions. I thought Mac was great, Tariq less so, I’d swap your scores around

All opinions, as per my response to drew , I also note Machiavelli comments, I am a big MacAllister fan but today I thought he didn’t always play the right option when we were moving forward. Thought he was above average though, as they all were.

I felt Tariq was disciplined against a team that can inflict damage on the break with their pace, and after some average performances was actually very good.

How did Tariq play today?

Son was subbed off without having a shot on target.

Nuff said.

Exactly - but it was team effort, as Son never got the opportunity to turn and run….

and even if he did get past The Lamp he ran straight into Veltman.

Glorious.
