Local non-league football clubs could do with as much support as as they can get, be it regulars, JCL's, plastics, tourists, or whoever.

I have seen the Golds this season, but won't be going to Wembley, but will be wishing them well from the comfort of my sofa.

Definitely the most impressive attacking team I've seen all year.

I do think that non-league is becoming more popular now. Long may it continue.

Definitely. Have sensed a sea change in the last couple of years both in myself and other BHA supporting friends but also wider friendship groups. Missing live football without a lot of the faff/cost of high end football.

Exactly and if you asked the club, players and management if they would prefer 7k plus cheering them on at Wembley or just the hardcore who turned up at home against Sittingbourne in the league you will only get one answer.

If the fantastic achievement of getting to Wembley results in a even a 100 new regular fans from the bandwagon who get hooked it is a great thing for the club.

I can do Horsham with 2 grandsons, a pint and cokes for the kiddies for that.

Bn9 well done.for me if I go to Lewes train fare £5.25 with rail card £7 admission senior .3 pints in Lansdowne £12.£1 tea or coffee in ground.total £25.25.it is what it is

My point was that if a club took only fans who were regulars there would be few in attendance. Littehampton's league crowds this year have been between 120 and 350.

So at Wembley, the vast majority will not be regulars. And my main offering was that this isn't a bad thing.

From LA (group save) on the train around £16, £25 for an adult ticket (for two games).and see some goals, a pint or two somewhere and a bite to eat say £60. As it's potentially a once in a generation chance for my home town club to play at Wembley, what's not to like! - I'd say a bargain!

As a regular supporter and a ST holder of a club in the same division, here’s my view. I’m struggling here to congratulate, you know why? because I’m envious. bloody envious. For the 300 or so that do go (even if it’s periodically) it’s gonna be wonderful. As for the other 5000 it’s really gonna showcase their local team. I for one would love it if we (Peacehaven) had a 5000 following to an away match in London, what’s not to like? As a 15 year old me and my mate went to Oxford v Worthing in the FA Cup in the early 80s we sung and cheered on the team, didn’t know any players, don’t think I’d ever been to Worthing as a town let alone a league match. It’s called ‘occasion’ ……Let the good times roll!

and noting wrong with "occasion" after all how else do you get to the number in the thousands?
