Been there and done that, and I reckon I'm not the only one, but you guys do nothing.
Several other posters, more respected ones than myself, have called for them to be banned also but, again, you guys stay silent.
Those two literally just troll, only when Palace are above us, and add nothing to this board. The other Palace fans are no problem.
You mods have no problem banning others for inoffensive trolling.
I guess it's just not the board for me anymore.

As you would expect, different mods proffered different views in our discussion. Bozza made his call about what he wanted to do; it’s represented in post 2 of this thread.
Dougie isn't nasty on here, but appears to have a homophobic signature on the Palace board, and only ever comes here when they're doing well and we're not. Bozza's post says "If you make a habit of writing in a way that largely seeks to diminish, belittle, undermine, divide, discriminate and mock then your days on NSC will be numbered". The only reason Dougie turns up is to belittle and mock.
It's not that Brighton fans expect to give abuse and receive none, the difference is that the Brighton fans will still be here when things are going badly, whereas Dougie will completely disappear, giving abuse and then legging it when they lose.
There are of course Palace fans that doesn't apply to.

I thought that was the entire point of Bozza's post? It's possible to stay on right side of the line, because one post on it's own will not break the rules. People (like Dougie) write in a way that does the things Bozza lists, without one post being offensive enough to be report worthy.

If they contravene site rules, they'll be infracted.
Again - just use the ignore function. Ignore all the Palace fans, and you'll never read what they've written, to get unnecessarily annoyed by it.

What Bozza is actually referring to though, is more constant, and significantly nastier in tone, than a Palace fan writing 'mind the gap', once every three months when they nose above us in the table.
Ok. Well I know which posters he's referring to, but Dougie does also fall into the category of only being here to do all the things Bozza listed, just not in a racist way (did he ever justify his homophobic signature on the BBS?)

Like I said above, this is no longer the board for me.
Please arrange to delete my account and remove all of my posts as was done for Mustafa.
You could equally say that about the two people Bozza is referring to, if people have a problem they can just ignore them. But if you add them to an ignore list, a conversation between them and others goes on it makes the thread less readable. If it's the mod's decision that specific away fans can use this board to troll, so be it, but I wouldn't pretend that the ignore function fixes that, just as it doesn't fix other abusive posters.
Dougie and a couple of other Nigels might be irritating tosspots on here (which I'm sure is the exact intention as WUMs) but not sure what someone has posted on an entirely separate board (that most of us won't look at anyway) needs to be justified on here really........where would that line be drawn ??

Sounds like getting rid of just one would reduce the numbers dramatically
