Not Loving it at all Icy .

You post good stuff on here and don’t want to get into a row with you

But 3 wins in last 22 league games
3 home wins all season
Less than a goal scored per game
Same errors each game not learning from

Lots of fans will not renew their season tickets

It’s been shit recently, I agree but in the big picture we are making progress. We’ve had some great ups this season and now we are having a few lows.

My kids have now left home but some of the reactions on here when we lose a few remind me of those times, and these are not young kids :lolol:

I tell you what I think. I think we gave up on this season.

We got in a striker bang in form and loaned him back to USG so Tony's other team could stand a chance of silverware. We sold Burn and White and didn't replace them. We've got a DoF who's sitting in limbo about to start with our rivals today. Wonder if he met anyone who might know Smeddie accidentally in a pub, restaurant or service station this week???

No, we've looked at the top ten position in January and gone "that'll do". But obviously still charged the fans the same for tickets.

Never had you down for a champions league fan GB.

Without zillions surely you must realise, we are still punching above our weight and the first time we have had security.

Relegation zone to European football in one season without massive investment just isn't done.

So will we see you jumping on the AMEX turf tearing up your season ticket in front of TB and PB then?

Never mind Huddersfield are filling you with joy and I don’t need to read the NSC room, too many entitled fans actually LOVING Potter’s team losing again, it’s been a half season wait to wade back in again though.

In the 7 months of the season so far, the fantastic spell was 7 weeks from 26 Dec - Brentford and 12 Feb - Watford.

The rest .... so often shite or last minute equalisers saving our bacon after being outclassed.

3 home wins in 7 months, where 30,000 repeatedly turn up dreaming of a win.

This isn't living the dream.

The worrying thing now is that we can't just pin this on Maupay/Welbeck. The defence is pants.

Bissouma our best player on bench. Assume he is not injured. Agree not at his best but surely rather than dropping our best player Potter should be motivating him to get back to his best.

It’s just passion mate and with all the shit and crap going on in the world and simple thing like Albion winning can just for a brief moment make the world seem a bit brighter

But there’s no guarantee Undav will be prolific at this level, it took Trossard two years. Also, he’s more like Maupay IMO, so we’d still remain fairly one dimensional in our build-up.

Should’ve got more for Burn, but if our players were fit he wouldn’t have been starting. Thought he was ordinary today.

I don’t think we’ve given up, more the players got complacent - especially Bissouma, glad he didn’t start.

I don’t think the sensible fans are loving potter’s team losing. We are all Albion fans …. BUT whilst we gave them plaudits for the tremendous first half of the season, then in the same vein, we must understand that when we play badly like the last two home games or look toothless like today, they will get a rollicking on here.

We have far too many disappointing players who may be wonderful when they are flying, are not fighters!

The next 3 matches, Liverpool, Tottenham, Man City are free hits as we probably won’t get a point out of them, but our run in is NOT an easy one. I don’t think we will go down, BUT I have a horrible feeling if leeds pick up, it will be close.

Accept it, the first goal was a lucky bounce off the post straight to a Newcastle player Cucu, not being able to keep up with the player is not bad defence, and the second was a quality goal.

We did not give up either and were the better team from the off imo, shit happens

Bissouma's head has been turned and he's just been going through the motions since returning from AFCON, and I thought Alzate played well today. The problem is our shambolic defending and our inability to be quick/incisive at the top end of the pitch. We'd never have scored today if it wasn't for Gross's corners.

Okay Mr V, but with Newcastle's recent run, did you really expect anything up there?

Lamptey stuck some quality balls in there begging for a striker to get on to them, but no one made the runs though.

Cucurella, did many other things today at both ends he did tighten up a bit with the final ball. But he has often stuck quality balls in the box.

we must have watched a different game 2 half decent balls from Lamps and a string of first man blocked low , and late crosses from Cucurella......we are in a bad patch but looked a lot better 2nd half ....terrible first 15 minutes .....terrible.

He was far from our best player during the previous 3 games and probably our weak link in midfield. I’d say that not dropping him after that would send the wrong message to everyone in the squad, not just Biss.

Well, NSC had us going to Europe after we'd beaten, er, Watford.

You can't tear up a designated mobile phone but if it wasn't for taking my son and the away game points I'd be giving up my ST and watching non league in all likelihood. A kind fellow NSCer did invite me to Lewes today and I would have gone had I not had to do boring family shizzle in the middle of the first half - went out for half and hour and we were two down when I came back in

Second was a sh!t goal.

Welbeck didn’t attack it, and Sanchez has to do better. Near post and poorly positioned.

First goal was fortunate but shape wise we were naive when play broke down…..

Newcastle did nothing otherwise - bossed them most of the game

We departed for the beach at half time from Manchester. Alzate should have had more air time - he’s naturally a progressive player. GP’s biggest challenge is unsticking us out of the front third - it’s painful to watch.

Can’t defend or score and that leads to our major issue- we concede at terrible times and we don’t capitalise when we have momentum. It’s been like this for most of Potter’s time here. Unfortunately the odd 20 minutes here or there, or remarkable performance against a top four team doesn’t really make up for that fact. We could quite easily finish 17th this season. But maybe that’s just where we should be.

We deserved that. Poor first half, Sanchez distribution abysmal, poor team selection. Hardly made Darlow make a save. We're also far too slow breaking when we get the chance. Cucurella never wants to take a player on. And to make matters worse we lose to the geordie scum.

Cantor and Aspinal gently scathing of us giving our entire half early doors for counter attacks (one devastating) and outright critical of Sanchez and the defence (but not Duffy) for gifting them free headers (one devastating).

Give any team your entire half in the EPL and you'll get destroyed on the counter. At 0-0 away from home = criminal.

Nothing but absolute bile from your typing fingers... you surely have no love for our team... just sod off. Just destructive all the time.

Blimey - I'm very very rarely negative towards the team but if you think putting everyone forward including the goalkeeper with 15 seconds to go and then not bothering to cross the ball into the box isn't the dumbest, thickest thing a team can do and worthy of me getting a little cross for a minute then you have more patience than me and for what it's worth I've been supporting them for nearly 40 years.
