Why do Forest have that dull dirge Mull of Kintyre as run out music?

Edit, just looked it up. Apparently introduced to whip up an atmosphere when they played Yeovil years ago, weird imo

New Years Day 1978 I think - Mull of Kintyre was played on the PA before the game - in those days fans would get in position about an hour before the match started. The Forest fans started singing The City Ground to the tune, and they’ve been singing it ever since.

Have to say I thought it far better when they ran out to the theme tune to Robin Hood

My TV is hooked up to Sonos Arc and a couple of Sonos Play 3's for surround. The sound from the game is so separated that from the Play 3 I'm closest to all I can here is what sounds like a few Forest blokes constantly singing and you can hear them and all their swearing as clear as day!!

Yes, really odd. Awful dirge.

Today though they played Born Slippy by Underworld for a while. Now that's a tune!

Am I being overly paranoid to be nervous that Leicester sack Rodgers. Leicester seems one of the few jobs that might fit Potter well, and might tempt him.

What went wrong at Leicester? Good manager and players and they at dire - why?

It is more than today though isn’t it? And we do fine without a few best players.

Wes Morgan and the pundits saying they've had a lot of injuries, especially defenders. So defensively they've been all over the place.

Think those two have been outstanding for Leicester over the last 5 years or so. Put a lot of backbone into a team of good footballers who perhaps had less of the competitive spirit as those two mentioned. Can't take anything from Forest either who took their chances and defended very well....
