I know a lot depends on circumstance, eg if a wealthy club has a particular spot to fill and is prepared to splash the cash to do that, but who do you think would be our most valuable player in the transfer market currently?

Not sure which of three, but probably not Tariq until he has proven his fitness over a season (and proven his injuries are behind him). Could see any of the other three get BIG money though.

How long do each have on their contracts? That is often a key part of the value (at least as far as transfers go)

Surprised so many people think Biss - thought it would be a lot closer.

I've opted for Lamptey because he's a HGP, he's younger than the others, he's not under investigation for a serious crime, he has longer on his contract and, perhaps most importantly, Potter's preferred style is for WBs and there's no other right-sided option. There are plenty of replacements for Bissouma - maybe not as good but replacements all the same. Who's our next Lamptey?

I think Tony will fight hard to keep Tariq but I get the feeling he's resigned to losing Yves.

Irrespective of the actual answer there's an awful lot of money there ...

... probably enough for 5 wunderkinds, who can be loaned straight out. :lolol: :jester:

Tough one... for me Bissouma's value has dropped a little this season so far (compared to the highs of the summer when we thought he was leaving for big bucks). He reminded us at Chelsea that he's pure class when he's up for it, but he's also gone missing in a few games this year.

I'm stuck between Lamptey and Cucurella, both younger than Biss and have a massive amount of potential.

If the Kozłowski signing gets confirmed, then surely that's us planning cover for Biss moving on in the summer...

Bissouma. Can totally control a game. Trossard is great and he can win a game (like Brentford away) with a bit of magic out of nothing but Bissouma is the complete package for me and therefore must be worth more.

I think it's Lamptey. His unbelievable speed is worth 20 million on it's own. He also has technique, good delivery and decent defensive skills. If Biss had 3 years or more on his contract it might be him.

Only the start of the poll but people voting for Bissouma is surprising. If he had a contract the same length as Lamptey then it would be very close, but with only 18 months on his contact I wouldn't be surprised if he left for 30mil in the summer. No way Lamptey leaves for less than 50.

I think another 18 months and a new contract Sanchez could be the most valuable.

Trossard has looked a class above this season.

This.

Tross would be 3rd place, and I don’t think Cucu, Sanchez & Maupay would be that far behind (£25m - £30m).

As a straight “who could we get the most money for right now?” question, Bissouma. But we might get more for Lamptey or Sanchez based on potential in the right scenario.

Biss for me.
Remember a time when we couldn't give our players away, although we probably still couldn't give lacadia away.
