1 or 2 idiots in a crowd of 40k sounds below average for a Merseyside derby. Liverpool Infirmary will have seen a lot worse in years gone by

One day some supporters will understand that things don't always go as well as they'd hope. It saves so much stress just enjoying football.

On a small positive, loved the two clubs and all the supporters tributes to 12 year old Ava White.

Gives a perspective.

There can't be many teams other than Everton that have spent that much money on plalyers to achieve absolutely nothing

Reported in a couple of place that the director of football Marcel Brands is likely to be the one facing the chop rather than Rafa.

Fans having a go at directors box 1 or 2 getting on pitch at final whistle. Think Rafa could be a gonna

Nooo, Everton still have some of their best players missing, Calvert-Lewin for instance will be back from injury soon enough.

It's a storm in a tea cup, losing to Liverpool is no big deal, it happens twice a season to many clubs. It's highlighted because Liverpool are the team just across Stanley Park.

Things will stabilize soon enough, and Rafa will survive.

Small beer compared with the media coverage of the BOOS at the Amex. Everton fans should have a look at themselves, compared to 50 Brighton fans going nuclear with a low tone hum at the manager. Benitez is a lucky man compared to GP. That booing was pretty horrendous, and under normal circumstances is enough to get rid of a manager.

He’s a good coach, winning major titles at Valencia for example.

But he started on day one with 10,000’s of bitter EFC haters. As well as all the challenges an EPL manager faces, he’ll have to produce almost every week to silence them. With an unbalanced squad built by a small army of managers/directors of football/scouting ‘gurus’.

A tall order.
