I'm sure a 27 year old Championship winger was exactly what Newcastle fans had in mind when the Saudis took over.

Howe is very good at spotting a goal scorer.
His Bournemouth team was renowned for scoring tons of goals until they suddenly dried up.

I suspect Lawrence will out score any Albion player you care to pick in the second half of the season.

He scores on average 6 goals a season in the championship hardly a top quality goal scorer.

Heartbreak in the end but a sound come from behind from the Rangers. The winner was a bit of a peach too.

I really enjoyed the game. Sadly, more gloom for Liam.

Apologies, I don't know much about this guy. I was confusing him with another guy we were linked with in the past who is absolute pony. Ex Liverpool, has been on loan at Derby and Bournemouth in recent years. Has a long face and dives a lot.

To be fair he will probably still outscore any Brighton player in the second half of the season.

Were we not linked with him some time back? Back in the Hughton era?

There were a few newspaper reports we were going to sign him for £8 million from Leicester in summer 2017. He signed for Derby in the same window. Don’t think we were ever actually interested in him and it was nothing more than paper talk.

I have a soft spot for Newcastle going to back to the Keegan era with Asprilla etc, but I really hope they go down this season.

Crikey, I hate to think what you want to happen to teams you don’t have a soft spot for! Bankruptcy, perhaps?
