If you think he's talking Bollox on this account, I can't imagine what he's trying to do with his postings on his other 4 NSC accounts

Am aware of the serious lack of judgement, accompanied by on arrogant but misplaced self-confidence on this name. That’s enough!

Still early days for Mwepu, but he certainly appears to be the real deal.

Seen enough of Cucurella to say with absolute confidence that he's the real deal. Amazing player, one of the best LWB's in the league.

Also, remember that they are both ONLY 23...
Still can’t quite get my head round Cucurella being that young. Not only does he look a few years older, he plays like someone with 300+ games at the highest level under his belt. Such a brilliant coup for the club.

Bissouma took 18 months to start putting in the kind of performance that Mwepu is putting in after 3 months. Cucurella has hit the ground running, Bissouma is almost back, Tariq is nearly back to his best. Imagine all 4 on the field firing on cylinders-

Nearly back to his best? The last two games he's been ridiculous. Somehow, returning from injury, with limited minutes / match fitness, he is playing better than he ever has, and that is saying something!

Amazing how Cucurella has settled in immediately.

Don't forget that we are a work in progress. We are just seeing a snapshot somewhere along what could be a five year plan or longer.
There's no reason at all to think we can't improve more, and every reason to think we will.

Just to add a dose of reality here, the problem for "clubs like Brighton" is that once you get too good the big boys start pinching your players. See Southampton in 2015, qualified for Europe so Liverpool nicked their two best players. The caveat is that their owner didn't reinvest very well and as you say we seem to have a pipeline of future players so hopefully the system keeps working!

They have recommended some absolute Turkeys but they have also found a few gems ... overall 6.5/10.

I should have been specific.

I was referring to Potter-era signings with Macaulay in the fold.

So, we have:
Maupay
Webster
Moder
Trossard
Veltman
Lamptey
Welbeck
Lallana
Cucurella
Mwepu

Then we have an U23 squad/loan system packed full of promising talent. Only a few will make the 1st team but we’ve seen some great prospect come to the club in the last few years including:
Zeqiri
Karbownik
Sarmiento
Khadra
Mitoma
Sima
Ferguson
Emerson
Van Hecke

If it’s Turkeys you’re after, you’ll have to wait quite some time, especially with the Brexit inspired poultry shortage we’ll be having this Christmas.

Hmmmm I do think you're being a little generous.
Although I'm 100% sure GPott not being t'other fella got most of the deals over the line, none more so than Trossard's, it's Shirley isn't as simple as GPott = good signings.

Maupay and Webster top championship players for GPotts season in the Championship.

I've always had the feeling the Webster deal was part of contract negotiation, so fast so much money.

Trossard and Veltman were both scouted before GPott arrived.

Lamptey has got the shadow of Dan Ashworth all over him.

Lallana and Welbeck.

So that leaves us with Moder Cucu and The Commodore 64.
They all seem great signings not needing the 2 seasons Tross had to have, esp Cucu who seems to be a fantastic bargain signing.
He's the trophy signing, whoever owns that one is currently in charge of recruitment.

He has been amazing but by back to his best I meant to be able to complete 90 mins week in week out. I think he is still regaining match fitness, and it will be a couple weeks yet before we see him starting and completing the full 90

I’m not 100% sure heard Cucu was wanted by GP himself they tried to sign him in the January window.

I was judging on the overall Prem era recruitment as that's the only period when we have had the dosh to splash the cash but yes, if the criteria only includes all the good ones then they have done brilliantly .... gobble gobble.

Do you EVER say anything positive, or not sarcastic?

Probably not, but then again this place is a bit special when it comes to positivity and negativity.

It feels like we can no long be pleased, impressed, uncertain or concerned.
Everything has to be turned up to 11 (or down to -11)

There's no room for nuance.

I'd like to know if anyone believed in Solly 90 seconds into the game.
But I know damn well asking the question (on the back of that team performance) would result in a whole shitstorm of bitchin coming back at me, for being so negative and not supporting the team.
