It was (not) an accident. . . . I couldn't go in the place, dreadful on every level, mostly the noise, but the then GF earned half decent beans as she was a student at the time and ~I needed all the help I could get

With Jumpin Jacks upstairs. I worked in hotshits behind the bar when it opened for about 6 months, Peter Falconio was also there at the same time. There was a certain Jordan there on the opening night as I recall. Must have been mid 90s….

Week before it opened was quite a fun time, for 4 consecutive evenings half the staff worked and the other half got hammered, played pool bowling while we all got paid
