All in the theatre of football and while the game is still going on, and although I think it adds to it all when the final whistle went it may have been better for Sanchez to run and celebrate with the Brighton players rather than turn round and offer the Palace fans out ?

I have no problem with cupped ears etc while the 90 minutes are being played in fact it’s what the games about but once the final whistle has gone players and fans alike should not be acting like thugs ( on both sides )…. Or am I going soft in my old age ?

Would that be the palace fans who'd been giving him pelters for the previous 50 minutes?

Clutching your pearls and swooning to the floor when it comes back for a fraction of a second, seems a little silly.

In all seriousness, he needs to be careful what he posts on social media about Dunk. That post on his Twitter account is slander and he can’t hide behind Twitter.

At the end of the day Lewis Dunk is still a prolific sex offender

@TikiTakaBissaka doesn't seem to be the sharpest tool in the box. Plus, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to say that to Dunk's face.

Or maybe not...

As the final whistle went, Sanchez was giving it to the Holmesdale, so McArthur went over to him to tell him to calm down,
then the pushing started.
Emotions were running high, some of your players were throwing shirts into the crowd, as if you had won a cup final or gone top of the league.
That’s football for you, fine margins and all that .

The video evidence seems to suggest that your choice of words was, not only a bit whingey, but also disingenuous: "So McArthur went over to him to tell him to calm down, then the pushing started;" should apparently have said "McArthur went over and said something and when he didn't like the response, pushed Sanchez." Our lot were gutted after Benteke's smash and grab last season. They didn't lose their heads in the way some Palace players did last night. They were like a small boy having a tantrum because they had been forced to let their brother have a turn on something.

Rob Sanchez's reaction leaving the pitch was reminiscent of John Robinson's when getting abuse from Millwall fans after we'd won the play off semi final in 1991. I seem to remember 'Gulls Eye' writing something like 'Robinson handled himself like a proper Newhaven boy.' - Last night Rob handled himself like a proper Cartagena muchacho. Great to see that his laid back demeanor hides a steely and fearless determination.

Those fans should not be on the pitch, they need identifying and banning.

one of ours in the white top will get a banning order-- on the pitch ,, knocking the photographer and making throat slitting gestures at the end -- all on sky sports.

Sanchez gains automatic promotion to ‘The Five’.

Built like a brick shithouse, he’s now revealed his psychopathic side.

Get the impression McArthur was going through the motions, a scared little boy.

It's always the quiet ones you need to watch!

A small part of me would have liked to have seen the bunch of whiny pricks given a little bit longer with Rob, Shane and Lewis to 'sort things out'..................................:)

Would have loved to see those coked up pricks, in Stone Island off depop, getting a shoeing from Sanchez, Dunk and Duffy.
