Nuances of killing millions of people with one button, rendering the land inhabitable for centuries? The question is plain, simple and fair based on the definition of a psychopath.

no the question is not fair, you are assuming a pre-emptive first strike in the question. unless there is option for retaliatory strike only, the polls is massively biased. and you are not basing on definition of psychopath either, but your conception of psychopathic behavior, which is not necessarily the same as that required to invoke nuclear strike (even a first strike).

Does anyone really believe that the UK could make its own decision? We would only launch our own bomb under instructions from a Washington president who was too gutless to be seen to be taking the lead.

It really is time for the UK to opt out of playing that game.

The USA have already used the bomb twice in 1945. We are told it was a good thing to do to end the 2nd world war. Is the USA a psychotic nation ?

We need a poll on this, but YES is the answer.

The country has thankfully moved on from Tony "puppet" Blair

Thatcher said she'd have grave doubts about ever pushing the button. The question is academic anyway because a British PM would not be able to without the permission and codes from the USA. Corbyn is being treated unfairly by the media. He is doing well to fend them off so far. OK, he won't win the General Election but that's because the great British public seem to be resigned to having 2 faced politicians, even though they keep complaining about them.

Why would the USA have codes to our weapons?
