People are put off by the inevitability of another Man United Badger win. It's killing the competition.

Don't buy into the hype. The 'people's champion' has won once in ten years. In a contest voted for by...the people. He's always a contender, which is quite right - he's got a lot going for him, but rarely the ultimate winner.

A mouse winning WHC would be like Susan Boyle winning miss world.

and would somehow sum up the occasional insanity of WHC......well, obviously its always insane if the magnificent, hardness re-defining Honey Badger doesn't win.

I'm concerned that a lot of JCL bandwagon jumpers are now blindly voting for the Trump Rat these days.

They take no interest in the actual competition or the nuances of each contest. Exactly like all the South Korean, American and Essex based Man U fans when it comes to football.

It's rather depressing.

A very good morning for the Hippo. Dancing around the ring, picking off scoring punches, keeping the mouse at distance with its reach.

Pound for pound hardness.

You need to think about this in terms of scaling the mouse up to human size. Imagine ging to the Isle of Wight and finding a small hairy person living there alone. Managing to defend the ENTIRE island as their personal fiefdom. With their bare hands. And the island is populated by six foot spiders and eight foot poison centipedes. Which it kills and eats. And when you get to the Island the small hairy person finds you and kills you and eats you. And then howls to the moon, loudly enough to be heard in Southampton.

On the other hand imagine a hippo scaled down to human size...
Cute.

The Hippo barely broke sweat when it put away the Croc and the Siberian Tiger but the Grasshopper Mouse is really keeping him honest. The little desert rascal is turning this into a classic encounter.

And the Hippo lets out a roar of triumph. It's been unstoppable this tournament and probably the only contender that has even looked capable of stopping the Honey Badger. Soon we will all know, as the two go head to head in the AnimalDome for the grand final. Wat a contest it promises to be. The Grasshopper Mouse fought to the last but simply had no answer to the Hippo's belligerence. It should take great pride from a well fought tournament, flying the flag for the little guys everywhere.

Next stop, the Grand Final. See you all on Monday.
