Once again i put forward the Shrew.

Shrews are highly strung and have a vicious disposition. Shrews must eat constantly, and in order to sustain themselves, they savagely attack prey twice their own size. Shrews can inject venom when they bite, but they normally kill by crushing the base of the skull. Yes thats right, they could use venom but they choose to crush skulls.......

I'll second the Siberian Tiger.

Brazilian Wandering Spider

I nominated this last year but no one seconded. Glad to see it being taken seriously this year.

Sounds double hard. Although a lot of Marketing will be needed to get him out of the group stages. Will Second this though, Just the kind of competitor I like.

Has the Honey Badger been mentioned?

- skin tough enough to resist machete blows
- picks fights with lions (see here around the minute mark - being bitten on the head just annoys it)
- generally unlikeable

Bozza I can't seem to find any of the previous tournaments when I use the search function. Am I doing something stupidly wrong or have they disappeared?

Why no Polar Bear?

Have the fluffy badger boys got at you, is your real name Sepp?

The Polar Bear won the first 2 WHCs then sat out the next three competitions. When it re-entered in 2013 it won again.

It is basically retired cause it has won every WHC it's ever entered.

What about our Smudge the dwarf hamster? I reckon that she could take on a Shrew by dropping on it from the top of her cage? I did nominate her and wouldn't want to tell her she hasn't been seconded.
