And the Punter run out (on 27 mins).......... :clap2:

Was right behind his arm for that. You could just tell it was out instantly despite that angle. Then the cheers started to go up from the corporate boxes behind as they watched the tv replays. Incredible day that.

Anyway, back to the match at hand...

Botham is back in the attack and Warne clearly wants to go after him and crashes the ball through the covers for four. He tries to repeat the shot but only succeeds in edging to Cook, the solitary slip

369-8 (Miller 14 Warne c Cook b Botham 5) Overs 139

Miller takes on Barnes and lofts him to cow corner for four. He tries to steal a single off the penultimate ball of the over but that's a brilliant piece of fielding by Stokes, diving full length and nearly hitting the wicket with a a throw from off the ground.

It's Lillee to face Botham

373-8 (Miller 18 Lillee 0)

Lillee has a swing but completely misses. He and Botham are both laughing at that.

Botham again and it's a bouncer that just whistles past Lillee's nose

The next two balls are both superb outswingers and Lillee doesn't get near them.

It's swinging time again and this time Lillee catches it, it's gone high to deep mid-wicket and Stokes, Compton and Anderson are all running towards it ... and it bounces harmlessly between them all. Two to Lillee. Another bouncer finishes the over

Barnes to Miller with the field back - there's a single any time he wants it but he stays at the striker's end. He doesn't fancy Lillee facing Barnes.

The field comes in for the fifth ball and it fizzes off the pitch, that's a beauty, just missing the edge.

And the final ball is an inswinging yorker that he just keeps out.

Time for round 2 of Lillee v Botham

375-8 (Miller 18 Lillee 2) Overs 142

It's a slower outswinger, Lillee has a swipe and catches the toe-end of the bat - this is way up in the air. Who's under it? It looks Hobbs in the covers will be the one to catch it ... and he does

Lillee c Hobbs b Botham 2

McGrath is no great shakes as a batsman and the entire field is in for him, He swings and the ball goes up in the air - it's an easy catch for deep mid-off. Unfortunately Anderson had just come in and they get a single.

The field spreads out for Miller but he declines a single. And again.

They come in for the fifth ball but he squeezes this away to fine leg for one.

McGrath has to face one ball from Botham. He plays down the wrong line completely and his off stump is out of the ground.

That was village cricket from McGrath, he was on the Bakerloo line while the ball was on the Piccadilly. Miller is left high and dry on 19

Australia 377 all out ENGLAND NEED 248 TO WIN

That is a ridiculous innings given the match situation, not that I am moaning of course...

248 on a 4th day pitch against Shane Warne, well that is going to be a walk in the park isn't it?

Could we have the 2nd Innings Card please?

I don't know what his issue was. England had used a second eleven player as a legitimate replacement for Simon Jones.

The fact that he was one of the best fielders in the country don't come into it....

Still waiting for the bowling figures?

Bloody worried BTW, 231 to get on a 4th day wicket against the best Leggie ever to play the game....

Still waiting for the bowling figures?

That was hard: I'd kept a running total for the previous innings but as I was out shopping for cake ingredients, making a cake and eating said cake (very TMS), I was a bit lost

But here they are

Anderson 25 4 72 0
Botham 37 3 101 4
Barnes 35 4 87 3
Tate 28 7 65 2
Stokes 19 1 44 1

So, in the match, Barnes has taken 7, Botham 5, Anderson and Tate 3 each and Stokes 2

Morning all, a few changes to the TMS commentary line-up today as a few of them experienced a slightly heavier Saturday night than most current professional sports broadcasting rules allow for.

10.00 - 11.00 - Norcross, Atherton & Guha (from the middle)

11.00 - 11.30 - Benaud & Holding
11.30 - 12.00 - Martin-Jenkins & Ponting
12.00 - 12.30 - Maxwell & Hussein
12.30 - 13.00 - Mann & Atherton

13.00 - 13.40 - "The World Cup captains" (Jonathan Agnew interviews Mike Brearley, Mike Gatting, Graham Gooch and Eoin Morgan about the pressures of captaining England in a World Cup final)

13.40 - 14.10 - Norcross & Holding
14.10 - 14.40 - Martin-Jenkins & Guha
14.40 - 15.10 - Maxwell & Trueman
15.10 - 15.40 - Mann & Ponting

15.40 - 16.00 - Tea (Agnew, Atherton and Hussein)

16.00 - 16.30 - Martin-Jenkins & Trueman
16.30 - 17.00 - Benaud & Ponting
17.00 - 17.30 - Mann & Hussein
17.30 - 18.00 - Maxwell & Atherton

18.00 - close - Norcross & Guha (plus interviews)

NOTE - as is TMS tradition in the event of one team looking on the verge of victory, a commentary team from that nation will take over, this will be either Benaud, Maxwell and Ponting or Martin-Jenkins, Atherton and Guha as appropriate
