I was just thinking a minute ago Bolt could absolutely DESTROY his own world record in this if he runs like he did in the 100m.

The current record (his) is 19.30.

Last night he ran 9.58 over 100m. Double that and you get 19.16. Plus the second hundred will be flying - and his flying hundred in Manchester doing that 150m thing was apparently under 9 seconds. I seriously think he could break the 19 seconds barrier, which would be just mindblowing as until last year nobody had even got close to Michael Johnson's 19.32 from 1996.

i thiink he'll do enough to win it but he'll leave some on the table.

these guys get offered monstrous amounts to break records and for appearances in the end of season grand prix meetings. breaking it by small amounts would make him exceedingly rich. remember sergei bubka in the polevault, he broke the record about 25 times in a 2 year period, by just lifting the bar 1cm at a time.

I think by smashing the 100m record as much as he did, he now has the attention, and the size of the offers will be that much bigger.
