So the government, having advised us they don't want to be a nanny state and therefore not spend a paltry £15m on a public information exercise about saving energy are now taking a different line with regard to banning orders. No doubt there will be a few claiming they were going to spend xmas with family abroad!

Personally, I think they should let them go so that if they act like proper tits, as is their propensity, they can spend a bit of time in Qatari jail!
