So no more diving blocks then, really bizarre decision you see that in almost every game and they never get given…. How can you fall without your arm going towards the ground? :lolol:

That’s why having someone who’s actually played the game in the VAR room would help

Incorrect decision according to the laws, pretty clear really, he didn't make his body unjustifiably bigger.

Following this clarification, it is a handball offence if a player:
    • deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the hand/arm towards the ball;
    • touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised;or
    • scores in the opponents’ goal: -directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including by the goalkeeper; or -immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental.

Or not having VAR in the first place coming up with ludicrous decisions?

Maybe they will argue that unless the defender has an enormous cock, he did make his body bigger?

Didn't watch any of the games today as had to drive the school bus for a field trip, but reading the above I assume VAR and the refs were as shit as usual? Going by the scores, does seem like there were some good games though, especially Ghana/South Korea and Cameroon/Serbia.

Did he touch that?
I guess he will claim it was the greasy forehead of God.
He seems absolutely determined to claim it, despite the fact that the ball did not change speed or direction - even the rotation of the ball did not change, FFS

.....and Portugal are a decent bunch of nice lads like CR7?
No but they’re better than Uruguay. In the same way a boil in the arse is better than two boils on the arse.

I was really hoping VAR would be implemented better in this World Cup than it is in the PL. I swear it was pretty good in 2018 in Russia, which means year in year it’s actually getting worse with more detrimental tweaks to the laws of the game to match.

Disagree strongly. f*** Portugal - they've chosen how they play football: diving and crying. Uruguayans are born into how they do it - fight for life or die trying. Win football games by any means or live a life in poverty. They are the working class heroes of football.

A lot right and a lot wrong with VAR. However everybody seems to agree present hand ball rule is a farce. Do you think leagues round the world will get together to change this
