Ours are about £20 return from EUS-WOLV. Virgin trains website

How long ago did you get them? Can't see that price on there

You may find something a bit cheaper going by London Midlands only Bean - will be a slower train though.

Why do people never understand the concept of booking in advance.

Right now book Blackburn away. DO IT.

£14.50 - advance singles each way between Eastbourne and Wolverhampton - going up on the fast train from Euston to Wolves - back on a 2 and a half hour stopper to Watford

Quick look online has came up with a total cost from Brighton of £26.50 - £16.50 up and £10 back - using the same trains as i would be to/from London or Watford.

Because some people, obviously not you, can't always book off a Saturday 12 weeks in advance.

In cases like that, surely the organised coaches would be the best bet then.
