Windows Mobile 6.5 to Android - Anyone done it?

Just considering updating my HTC HD2 to Android. It's currently on Windows Mobile 6.5 which is OK but has bugger all in the way of apps, and even Microsoft have closed down the Windows Marketplace for 6.5 in favour of supporting Windows Phone 7.

Wondered if anyone else has attempted this and can give any tips on do's and don'ts? Also whether there are any disadvantages I've overlooked. I'm thinking the range of apps available will probably cancel out any negatives but would be interested to get others views before jumping in with both feet.

You need to be aware that you aren't going to get a fully functioning Android OS on an HD2 and some features may not work properly/at all. Your best bet initially is going to be to put Android on a SD card and dual boot with Windows Mobile to see how you get on with it before going the whole hog and putting in on the phone.
