Not a great crowd considering the magnitude of the game.
Whitehawk had bigger crowds in their County League days.

A nice bit of South London
The Conference South top 5 have finished as close as any in many years.

Bromley did rightly win it as the stand out side, but not by a huge margin.

There is really very little to call between Basingrad, Boreham Wood, Whitehawk or Havant.

In the first semi, 5th place Havant have done the double over runners up Boreham Wood this season, and will fancy their chances but form counts for little in the play offs.

Whitehawk have lost 3 times this season to Basingstoke, 1-0 each time including the FA Trophy. Whitehawk have conceded the most goals of the top 5 so it will be a tough ask for them.

Only 5 points separated the 4 play off teams. Very little to chose between them. Whitehawk probably have the form having won their last 4 games to grab 4th place, Boreham have the fire power having netted 79 goals in 40 league games. Tough call, should be some quality games.

I'm off tomorrow night to see Havant and Waterlooville v Boreham Wood. I'm hoping for a Whitehawk win for a Hawks v Hawks final!

Good review. Thanks

Very tempted to go today

No, they (we) didn't.
Crowds were around the 50 - 60 mark, the club were in danger of being wiped out as the old guard responsible for volountarily keeping the club going were dwindling away.
Ned and the boys arrived just in time.

Should of gone i'm out in Basingrad tonight ,but the ground is so depressing having been there numerous times ,If Whitehawk go up it's a day out in Brighton .No doubt as it's local it will be a Tuesday or clash with a FA Trophy weekend.

Not far fromme. Might pop up to watch this, but will support BW. One of their squad coaches the team my boy plays for

Glad I went - lovely dipping 20 yard volley from jake Robinson settled it but Hawks streets ahead in class over the two legs.

Would recommend people take a look, they've come on in streets and bounds even since I last saw them around Xmas - they play some lovely stuff very easy on the eye

Gutted Havant&Wville didn't make it, but it should be a cracking final.

B'Wood play very attacking football and in Lee Angol (on loan from Luton) have the top scorer in the league, he is a right handful, quick and skillful, wouldn't mind betting he'll be playing a lot higher soon. The 'Wood also work incredibly hard closing down, but I did think lacked a bit of pace at the back.

Whitehawk have the form though and I would have said Basingstoke we're going to be the hardest side in the playoffs over 2 legs.

I honestly can't believe Whitehawk are 1 game away from the conference - there are going to be plenty of sides get an absolute shock coming down here next season if the Hawks win.
