Wonder why OGH didn't take one then...didn't he used to take them in the past when he played up front ? Strange that he didn't fancy it, I thought he'd be one of our 'specialists'.

Still, the lads who took them did us proud - every single one of them confidently battered past their keeper.

I really thought that Virgo had missed at first. When I watched on TV when I got back to London I realised that it actually hit the underside of the bar. Pick that out!

Arise Sir Adam Virgo.

Picture this:

Lving in Kent so couldn't get to the game. Watched the game on sky...with a mere four other brighton fans....knew none of them at kick off but seemed like i'd known them for years by the time last spot kick had missed.

Not sure if anyone else had the same problem but seemingly due to the weather, sky reception was shite and by the time the penalties came around the reception was prone to freezing at any time - and guess when it did decide to finally freeze??? -
When Virgo's spot kick was mid flight looking for all the world that it was flying over!!!!!!! Not good, not good at all - so there was everyone on their mobiles trying to get hold of anyone and everyone that was watchng the game convinced that Virgo had f***ed it up when after a frantic couple of minutes a voice pops up from one end of the pub: "Virgo's scored and Swindon have missed..............................................................Swindon have missed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How we danced...all four of us

Will never forget that night, wouldnl't have had it any other way.

*puts on anorak*

Gary Hart has NEVER taken a penalty for us.
Not in any normal game or any penalty shoot out we have been involved in.

Don't know why, maybe he is crap at them, in which case i am pleased he doesn't bother!

Gary Hart used to take penalties when he played up front for Stansted.

Gary Hart took at penalty and scored it against Scarbrough at Gillingham in 1998 but you probably weren't there
