No, that was an interview he gave on Monday. He gave a different opinion the next day.

The point was that BG said that he'd never said he'd retired from England, I was just pointing out that he was saying it as recently as two days ago.

My own feeling is that he knows he's not going to be selected so he's qute safe in saying that he's available. He doesn't then look like he's let England down.
