Can i just say we weren't "smashed" last night. Dominated the game for 90 minutes, they took their chances we didn't. As you where.

They had more shots on target and more possession...not exactly a smash 'n' grab, is it?

If we compare our match earlier this season with your match last night:

Stoke/Palace:
possession: 54/46
Shots: 17/10
On Target: 7/3

Palace/Brighton:
Possession: 54/46
Shots: 13/7
On Target: 7/5

So, how come you lot claim that we were 'smashed' yet our stats were closer than yours were last night?

Have we got a 'moving goalposts' smily anywhere?

Forward Zaha, understood to have been watched by Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, was brought down by Ryan Shawcross in the area.

Stoke must have thought they had secured victory until three minutes before the end of normal time when Jonathan Williams fell under the challenge of Shawcross and Palace's top scorer Murray slotted in from the spot.

Same old, same old...

Oh and Zahaha was booked for cheating/diving... as you were

Another desperate thread. We bossed the game, missed a pen and started with a 17 year old kid on his debut.

Most of us are thankful, if not disappointed, we lost so we can get back to concentrating on the league, so crow away.
By the way Man U have just confirmed they are looking at Wilf, but with a summer deal in mind. Looks like he is staying then.

Next.

The Manchester United scouts at the game last night reported back that Winifred isn't worth £6M when compared to the diving antics of Ashley Young. The deal in the summer will be £4.5M :lolol:

For a fall described by commentators at the game as a def foul and pen.

Those wouldn't happen to be the commentators working for radio London would they? They wouldn't be regionally biased now.....

Strangely enough the stoke commentators held a different view.

The Stoke radio commentary team work for the BBC as well. So whoever you listened to there would have been a bias. The only time it can be neutral is coverage by BBC Radio 5.
