Best bit was seeing Rafa sat on the edge of the pitch with his legs crossed when the penalties were being taken, at one stage he even looked at his watch....

Not because they're "British".

And, in this instance, not to secure an all-English final. I'd be more impressed with (and enthusiastic about) a Liverpool win over Milan.

On the Milan v United question ... if this was the final, I'd want Milan to lose. Mainly because all right thinking supporters of football should wish defeat on Milan on every possible occasion. Like Chelsea, they owe their success to money (and dodgy money, at that). And football should be about more than the richest team winning.

But I still can't get enthusiastic about Glazier's team any more.
