These sort of issues make me sad.

A guy wants to dress as a local hero - the best footballer for his local team by the looks of it.

From one professional sportsman to another, how is that anything other than a term of endearment and admiration. Not only that, but Wilfried himself has apparently blessed it. Complete non-issue, and shouldn't ever be.

Pretty well put to be honest.

I would like to add through the medium of a Manc band

Meteors may strike the earth
Nations live and die
I'm the boy who got the girl
And now we're gonna fly
We can cross the race divide
Bridge a gap that wasn't really there

seems to me on occasions like these the people that are shouting racism the loudest are the very groups who rely on racism existing for their own existence.........i wonder why?

i didnt read this story on the BBC website even though i saw it,i only read it because it was mentioned on NSC and there was a discussion.I tend to give allegations of racism stories a swerve nowadays in the media, mostly because there have been so many ridiculous race cards played.

If the aim of the people who constantly scream racist was to belittle genuine racism debate i think they have achieved that with flying colours.
