Depends which Brighton turn up against Villa and muff. The one against arsenal and we’ll be ok. The one against Wednesday and Everton, were loose

The Albion of the last 3 seasons that starts any match half asleep, loses. That’s been incredibly frequent, often at the Amex.

At the Emirates from the first second were on the front foot.

Think it will be us im sorry to say

Sometimes we look way out of our depth then other times we look world beaters. I'm very concerned though, Next 5 games will tell us

Opinion on who goes down will vary from week to week ...there are a fair number of candidates....I see at least one place going down to the final day of the season...far more exciting than mid table boredom

If we lose to Villa, do you think we’ll be very much in the mix?

We're clearly in the mix now and even if we beat Villa we will still be very much in it.

I suspect the team ending up 18th will have enough points to have comfortably avoided relegation in each of the past 5/6 years

Fine margins, including for the mojo of fans. If we beat Villa, to have 27 points in mid January would be amazing, giving us an immensely strong chance of staying up.

Easier said than done. Potter needs to on his A game in selection, tactics and game management, as well as the players. You can tell as early as 10 minutes into any Amex PL performance, whether the half asleep/error strewn Albion have turned up, or the side/performance that destroyed Spurs.

Still confident it won't be us - though tiny little cracks are starting to appear in that confidence.

Should we lose the next four (heaven forbid!) we'd be in real trouble.

Brighton need say 5 more wins and a draw. Our best opportunities:

Villa H
Watford H
Scum H
Newcastle H

March, April and May are nightmare fixtures, including we seldom win at St.Marys, Carrow Road and Turf Moor.

So we must pile up the points in Jan & Feb, to give us a chance.

4th bottom this season is going to need more points than last couple of seasons imho..... Been 3 clearly shit teams past 2 seasons and we were just lucky last year that Cardiff were just a bit more shit than us.

This season, except Norwich there's a lot of similar level teams, ok but inconsistent. You'd have money on Stains going down couple of months ago, now you'd only bet on them staying up, Watford under Pearson look more than capable of surviving, muff's injury crisis is getting better, really is about 5 or 6 clubs Inc us for the 2 spots with Norwich.

Bloom is a gambler at heart, and it's his money thats at risk, but without more proven firepower and ability to get a few more in the onion bag, come Feb 1st, it's going to be another nail biter like last season again.

On a good day we are formidable - best albion side......ever.
Sadly it doesn’t happen often.
In too many games weve lookEd a bit soft , bit naive and at a loss as to how to turn possession into goals.
The next six weeks are crucial - we have winnable games we must win.
Looking at the fixture list, if we we find ourselves in a late season dog fight, we will go down.

This. Our Jan and Feb fixtures are the key to our fate.
