Lansdowne Place, Hove
to interested parties, right?

And seriously, the postal strike really could delay things IF the decision was announced on the Wednesday...so maybe it'll be announced the day before.

:nono: HOW MANY MORE TIMES?!?!?!

It's COURIERED (sp?) down from London so won't be affected by the Postal Strike!!!!!

Since the last decision was announced, they've discovered e-mail at the DCLG.

Whether they'll use it is another question altogether.

People have a curious notion that the "announcement" is somehow made by the Secretary of State standing up somewhere and speaking.

What actually happens is quite different. The DCLG send a letter to the agent acting for the applicant and send a copy of that letter to the other interested parties.

The letter will start with the words "Dear Mr Allen".

Many apologies, I didn't realise and obviously haven't read the previous references to this query.
