When is it acceptable to leave a football match early?

This was highlighted in the Fiver as: "Brighton fans! When is it acceptable to leave a football match early? The Guardian Sport Network knows...." - is there a deserved reputation brewing?

Not at all. Barely a mention.

Arsenal have a reputation for emptying early no matter the score (their own fans admit this), and ManU if the result is a near certain loss.

Perhaps its something about stadiums not in city centres, with massive traffic jams and mass transport queues after final whistle.

Everyone is different, so why keep banging on about people leaving early, just makes you look a complete ****! for starting a topic when it has been done to death.
