My first XI is....... very difficult to pick, simply because i haven't seen some of the players in action to be able to try to pick a best XI.

Worthing
Difficult - could easily have put Ince/Crofts in for Stephens, or March for CMS.

------------- Stockdale ------------
Calderon -- Dunk -- Greer –- Bennett
------- Holla ------ Stephens ------
------------- Texeira --------------
CMS ------- Baldock –----- Colunga

Surely it's an impossible question as we've not seen a lot of them play more than 1 or 2 games...!?

Gardner and Baldock have played against us and been on the telly a few times, so we can have a fly I think - the ridiculous ones are rating guys like Tex and Holla before they've played, but we've got some limited evidence there too now

Still mostly guesswork obviously but fun....

Stockdale
Bruno - Greer - Hughes - Bennett
Gardner - Holla - Stephens
Teixiera - LuaLua
Colunga

^ That's as I haven't seen Gardner or Baldock yet to really know whether they warrant a place, and O'Grady is clearly Sami's Plan B. I think Stephens was one of our better players last year and when fit should be straight into the squad. LuaLua & March are better from the bench IMO. JFC & Ince should be rotated as both have the potential to be key players, but are still young and learning. Toko I'd like to give a chance; still can't work out whether there's more than meets the eye to his absence or whether he's just struggling for fitness, but I doubt on initial impressions of Holla that he'll replace him as no1 holding midfielder. Agustien should be shown the door if we can find a buyer, although I doubt there'll be anybody lining up at the door.

Team of Right Footers

The aspect I took from this is that Baldock needs a player to feed him, Emmanuel-Thomas mostly for BC.
Teixeira would seem the player mostly to fit the role. Calderón leads with two assists so far.

Stockdale
Bruno Dunk Greer Calderón
Holla Ince Stephens
Teixeira Baldock Colunga (Lualua 66)

Ince is included because despite his limitations*, I don't think he will get better unless he gets the games. (* choice of passes mainly)
This makes it awkward as I tempted to include Forster-Caskey but I don't think we are dangerous enough going forward with Caskey and Ince in the same team.

Still unsure as the whole team are right footers. And a lack of sheer pace.

Sorry but I have to pick you up on this...lack of sheer pace? CMS is back to full speed; I bet the 2 CBs on Saturday wouldn't say he lacked pace as they looked in fear for their life's when he started running at them. Tex is swift as well, to the point it looks like he needs to slow down so the others can catch up with him.
