Have always found Lou Rhodes somewhat mesmerising as a singer, a strangely soporific sound in a good way.

Glad to hear of her new project, can't find a direct link but Gilles played it (below), 1hr 27mins in. Lovely sound.

Listened to 30 odd tracks today. This popped up on the iPod as I was finishing my Harry Hole book on the patio, and I just....smiled.

This came up on the iPOD in the car this morning. Stunning track, the way it builds......and bursts. Trusted, by Sound Stable

This song takes me right back to 1979, a bunch of us were waiting at The Marine pub on Worthing seafront for the coach which was taking us up to Newcastle. This was the game we won that got us promoted to the old First Division. The Marine was pumping out loud music and this track in particular, stood out, I always associate it with good times for The Albion.
Happy days.
