Orianas, the Suite, or the Pink Coconut/Paradox was where I used to strut my STUFF.

I can still remember the white Avanti jacket, pink shirt, with pencil-thin black leather tie. God I thought I was IT.

I remember going to them, although I wore a suit jacket rolled up sleeves and crocket and tubbs (miami vice stylee) canvas shoes. No socks!!

Blue Monday. 1983 version only, no crappy Quincy Jones (1988) or Hardhouse (1995) remixes

Rhythm Is A Dancer. 1992, all comes back...

Not Over Yet (or its 1999 remix, both are fine) by Grace. Not as popular as the above two, and hard to get requested, but still amazing.

Halcyon and On and On by Orbital, even though the first 2 minutes or so are undancable...

Insomnia by Faithless. Just because.

werent you about 5 then?

Yes, but is that an issue?

Its also one of those songs that lingered around for about 8 or 9 years afterwards like an animal rotting under a porch.... I remember it being played regularly until about 2000.

Heh, my school was 'progressive', but not that much..

Halcyon is AMAZING live. They totally destroyed it at their Peel Session (last live performance) so I heard of the last 3 decent live performances of it - Oxegen 2004, overly packed tent, RIGHT up the front (had to stand through Electric Six and Elbow and slowly migrate my way up the front...)

That tune by the kazoo bloke that they play in the South Stand sometimes. Got to number seventeen in the charts or something. Trouble is, every time I stand up and attempt to DadDance to it in H Block, some fat bird in an orange jacket comes and tells me to sit down please. I mean, me DadDancing's not THAT bad. IMHO like... :(

Don't Stop Me Now by Queen

"Tonight I’m gonna have myself a real good time
I feel alive and the world turning inside out yeah!
And floating around in ecstasy
So don’t stop me now don’t stop me
’cause I’m having a good time having a good time

I’m a shooting star leaping through the sky
Like a tiger defying the laws of gravity
I’m a racing car passing by like lady godiva
I’m gonna go go go
There’s no stopping me

I’m burning through the sky yeah!
Two hundred degrees
That’s why they call me mister fahrenheit
I’m trav’ling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic man out of you

Don’t stop me now I’m having such a good time
I’m having a ball don’t stop me now
If you wanna have a good time just give me a call
Don’t stop me now (’cause I’m havin’ a good time)
Don’t stop me now (yes I’m havin’ a good time)
I don’t want to stop at all

I’m a rocket ship on my way to mars
On a collision course
I am a satellite I’m out of control
I am a sex machine ready to reload
Like an atom bomb about to
Oh oh oh oh oh explode

I’m burning through the sky yeah!
Two hundred degrees
That’s why they call me mister fahrenheit
I’m trav’ling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic woman of you

Don’t stop me don’t stop me
Don’t stop me hey hey hey!
Don’t stop me don’t stop me ooh ooh ooh (I like it)
Don’t stop me don’t stop me
Have a good time good time
Don’t stop me don’t stop me ah

I’m burning through the sky yeah!
Two hundred degrees
That’s why they call me mister fahrenheit
I’m trav’ling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic man out of you

Don’t stop me now I’m having such a good time
I’m having a ball don’t stop me now
If you wanna have a good time just give me a call
Don’t stop me now (’cause I’m havin’ a good time)
Don’t stop me now (yes I’m havin’ a good time)
I don’t want to stop at all"

Yay! Incredibly hard to find people who even remember Not Over Yet

Excellent video, the second time around at least. Probably the only Oakenfold remix of his own music - he was in Grace.

Grace has great memories for me of Tuesday (yes Tuesday!) nights at the Event.

Marvellous early 90's scenes.
:clap2:

The '99 version was the first track I ever played in public DJ'ing, off the first vinyl I ever bought. Lot of memories for me also, even if time shifted about 5 years later..
