"My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion, super extended version.

Bollocks - it's not like I have to listen to it.

Good thread, if a touch morbid. Definitely Abide with Me because of its football associations, but none of the gloomy death march type organ music, doesn't help anyone IMHO.

The democratic and free EU
I think a medley of George Formby ukulele classics would capture the spirit of the occasion quite nicely:
Oh Mr Woo, Leaning on a Lamp Post, When I'm Cleaning Windows...

Land of Hope and Glory, as the procession marches slowly up the Mall and along Whitehall.

Nessun Dorma as we enter Westminster Cathedral.

Probably finish with The Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum) by the Cheeky Girls as my coffin is lowered to its final resting place in Highgate Cemetery.

Meopham, Kent.
"Sometimes it snows in April" by Prince.

The wife has been told many times so I fully expect it.

Think it'll be nice if everyone leaves to "Sussex by the Sea", and if we are still waiting for a new ground then I would like to replace a hymn with a resounding rendition of "Build a Bonfire."

How about the theme tune to 'Beadles About' - that'll keep them guessing !!

or more seriously, One Step Beyond by Madness

or Straight to Hell by The Clash,

or Knocking on Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan

or Light My Fire by the Doors

plus some great traditional hymns...

The day thou gavest Lord is ended,

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation,

and Thine be the Glory.

I only wish I could be there to enjoy it all !!
