I think this may be the best sporting day in my 42 yrs (as a Brit and albion fan). Obviously I have witnessed some great albion days. But from the 'brit' perspective can't think of many finer sporting achievements in my lifetime.

It's been a bit overshadowed by other sporting news, but an honourable mention should go to Kevin Pietersen for a brilliant innings in the Test match. I know he is only an "adopted" England player, but it was a wonderful display of batting.
