The promotion teams were strong across the back. Good sign....

Leyton orient scored their second on 47 minutes. That makes it 313 mins since we last conceded.

Interesting stat. Think back to pre-Christmas last year when we were averaging 3 goals a game with Smith in goal. Gus has really focused on our weakest area and probably made it our strongest since he took over. Very good progress I feel.

I hope this has silenced the Ankergren critics for now...

I know he has now got 3 clean sheets, but when the ball goes towards him I'm never sure weather it will be something spectacular or awful that happens.

He is a good keeper but sometimes I have to close my eyes and pray

Who should take the credit for this turn around in defensive displays Gus or Maurico?

Brezovan and Greer. Their returns to fitness/availability has put the pressure on the current defenders and keeper who realise there are people in the squad threatening their places.

Be harsh to drop him now but our number one (Brezovan) needs to get back in the side sooner rather than later.

If you only at the league games, we should have kept a clean sheet against Walsall too (but for the ref getting involved in their attack and the excellent finish from Macken with virtually the last kick of the game).

agreed, a decent keeper would have 314 mins record at least by now...

seriously, the pressure af Brez ready for his place can only be good for the side.
